My Life in Paris and Travels Around France
It’s pretty bizarre to think that we’ve been in Normandy since March and now it’s May. It’s exciting though, because if things go as anticipated we’ll be able to go back to Paris on May 11th. I don’t know what the plan is beyond that, but at a minimum it’ll be good to be home. Until then we’ll continue to make the most out of our time in Normandy. Keeping with the spirit of this new month, this week’s Five Friday Finds from France are all happy and exciting. Or at least I think so!
I always look forward to Sunday morning in Paris. Whether I’m starting the day with a croissant sur la terrassse or an espresso au bar, I enjoy a calm and stillness that is rare in Paris. After I’m fully caffeinated (for a Sunday anyways), I like to head to Marché Raspail, my favorite Sunday morning market. I think this organic market is one of the best in Paris.
Today’s Five Friday Finds from France post features sweet treats, a Caudalie skincare product, a Parisian Blue Door and more. While this week’s Five Friday Finds from France certainly won’t be as monumental as last week after meeting WWII Veteran Dr. Stephen Weiss, it’s still a good one. Plus I do have a bit more on Dr. Weiss!
One of the best parts about living in Paris and France for a foodie like myself is all of the weekly open-air markets. Marché Raspail is “mine,” since it’s the closest to my apartment. And it makes shopping for food a dream.
