Now more than ever, I think Valentine’s Day should be less about grand gestures and more about doing heartfelt things to honor the people you love, whether that’s a friend, a family member, a partner, or yourself. I created this list of Valentine’s Day gift ideas for Francophiles last year and updated it this year. There’s a little something for everyone – I think these French-inspired gifts (all available online) would make the day extra special!
Thanks to my parents I learned the importance of investing in quality cookware, because it lasts forever if you take care of it. If you’re just beginning your collection, the Le Creuset Factory to Table Sale is a great place to start. You can find Le Creuset classics for up to 50% off, which is a pretty incredible deal. I wanted to share my Le Creuset Factory to Table Sale picks that you can shop through April 19th.
Fall is here (at least for now) and I’m getting back into my normal routine in Paris for the first time in what feels like since March. One of my absolute favorite parts of this new season is going to the first fall edition of Marché Raspail.
We spent the first part of our summer holiday in Mèze, a little paradise not far from Montpellier. If you’re familiar with me you know I love my weekly market in Paris. Markets in small towns in France are usually not to be missed. The Mèze market is no exception.
It’s pretty bizarre to think that we’ve been in Normandy since March and now it’s May. It’s exciting though, because if things go as anticipated we’ll be able to go back to Paris on May 11th. I don’t know what the plan is beyond that, but at a minimum it’ll be good to be home. Until then we’ll continue to make the most out of our time in Normandy. Keeping with the spirit of this new month, this week’s Five Friday Finds from France are all happy and exciting. Or at least I think so!
