Thanks to my parents I learned the importance of investing in quality cookware, because it lasts forever if you take care of it. If you’re just beginning your collection, the Le Creuset Factory to Table Sale is a great place to start. You can find Le Creuset classics for up to 50% off, which is a pretty incredible deal. I wanted to share my Le Creuset Factory to Table Sale picks that you can shop through April 19th.
Le Creuset Factory to Table Sale Picks
Signature Round Dutch Oven
A Signature Round Dutch Oven is probably the most essential Le Creuset piece you can own. You can do so much with it. My oven has been broken since January (it’s a long saga…but part of Paris apartment life) and my dutch oven has saved me. I can do almost anything in it, including cooking a whole chicken. It’s available in the Factory to Table sale in several colors and sizes. I have the 5 1/2 quart size and love it.
Dinner Plates
There are lots of colors available in the dinner plates, but I think the white is super crisp and classic. The plates have great heat retention which keeps food either warm or cold for serving. You can either buy a set of four dinner plates or you can buy the plates individually which is fun for mixing and matching colors.
Signature Lite Grill Pan
My first piece of Le Creuset was a grill pan that my mom gave me. It’s so nice for apartment living (and Paris where you can’t use grills). It really works just like a grill and is so easy to clean. I’ve used it to make burgers, steaks, chicken, and vegetables.
Mini Round Cocotte
These mini round cocottes are practical, but also make serving food so much fun. Romain’s family has a set in Normandy and we used them all of the time for sides and desserts during the first lockdown. They’re also great for reheating leftovers because you can pop them in the oven with the lid and not worry about things drying out. The satin blue color is so beautiful too.
Heritage Rectangular Dish
This Heritage Rectangular Dish is just a great staple to have. You can use it for practically anything – casseroles, desserts, sides, pasta dishes, stuffed peppers and more. I like the white, but it’s also available in a red which is a signature Le Creuset color and also a good option for the holidays.
1925 Original Cocotte
If you already have a few Le Creuset pieces, the 1925 Original Cocotte would be a fun one to add to your collection. The handle on the lid is slightly different but otherwise everything is the same as it is now, which is a wonderful testament to the quality and timelessness of the pieces.
Saucepan with Skillet Lid
I didn’t even know it existed, but the saucepan with a lid that can be used as a skillet is pretty brilliant. These are two of my most frequently used pans for cooking, and the Caribbean blue color is so bright and cheery. I think this would also make a great gift for a recent graduate or as a housewarming present.
Oval Dutch Oven with Grill Pan Lid
Another great Le Creuset 2-in-1 is this Oval Dutch Oven with Grill Pan Lid. You get both the 7 1/4 quart dutch oven and a large, deep grill pan in one so it would be great for bigger groups or occasions. The color is a little more masculine so it could also be a great Father’s Day idea if your dad enjoys cooking and grilling.
Crème Brûlée Dish
The Crème Brûlée Dish is another that Romain’s family has in Normandy. Although I haven’t yet attempted crème brûlée, we used them all of the time as serving dishes for appetizers and fruits. My personal favorite thing we used them for however was individual gratin dauphinois.
Deviled Egg Platter
I used to think a Deviled Egg Platter was kind of unnecessary, until I made deviled eggs and wanted them to look pretty. They tend to move around on the plate, especially if you’re carrying it or passing it around. A platter just holds everything in place and this bright red color would really make the eggs stand out in a pretty way.
Heart Cocotte
Although it’s very Valentine’s Day, I would use this Heart Cocotte all of the time. The two-quart size is great for making smaller portions and it’s just sweet. This would be a great gift for someone you love and now is the perfect moment to buy it at half off.
Pumpkin Cocotte
Again, it’s seasonal, but this Pumpkin Cocotte is adorable. I like the white because all of the vibrant-colored autumn soups would really stand out. It would also be a beautiful larger piece to use on Thanksgiving, and the lid is helpful for keeping things warm until it’s time to serve.
The last item isn’t a part of the sale, but I think it’s an essential. The handles on Le Creuset products get hot, and these Silicone Handle Grips will change your life. I hope you enjoyed my Le Creuset Factory to Table Sale picks!
