My Life in Paris and Travels Around France
I fell in love with Paris by walking around around and taking everything in. I think it’s the best way to see the city and discover which part of it speaks to you. There really is something for everyone in Paris. With the imminent arrival of spring, I’ve been thinking about Paris gardens and the return of leisurely walks. There’s something about walking through Palais-Royal and its garden that remains a personal perennial favorite.
This is my third Easter in France. Due to lockdowns, each Easter has been a little bit different but we’ve always managed to celebrate with a delicious meal. In my experience lamb and chocolate are two absolute Easter must-haves, and luckily those both can be modified in many different ways to have a French-inspired Easter celebration no matter where you are and who you’re celebrating with.

The first week of our newest “limited-lockdown” in France went by surprisingly fast. In all honesty it doesn’t make much sense to me, but I’m going with it. Today is my dad’s birthday so I’m looking forward to toasting him from afar with a his favorite drink, a margarita. When Dalton and I were locked out on Monday we decided it would be fun to do a question and answer. Since Dalton was available for questions, a lot of them were about him and what it’s like having a dog in Paris in general.
