Weekend Links Week 26 is here which means we’re almost halfway through the year – kind of hard to believe. This weekend I’m in Normandy which is always a very welcome change from Paris. I wish the trip was longer but even just a couple of nights will be so relaxing. I’ll probably spend most of my time hanging with sweet Dalton. Some of my favorite articles from this week include a list of 20 cult films about the Côte d’Azur, the most beautiful exhibitions to see in France this summer (including one I’ll see this weekend), timeless Eugène Atget photos of Paris in the 19th century, and the history of Van Cleef & Arpels. I hope you enjoy!
Five Friday Finds from France: June 25th
It seems like almost overnight life in Paris went back to almost normal. No masks outdoors, no curfews, and everything reopening was an incredible change all at once. Every opportunity I have to sit at a café or restaurant feels like the biggest treat in the world and I can’t wait for more of you to experience it shortly. Temperatures cooled off this week which was also a welcome relief from the heat. This week’s Five Friday Finds from France includes some of the best thermal water sprays, Statue of Liberty replicas in Paris, an incredible French cookbook and more.
Weekend Links: Week 25
After a busy week and with rain in the forecast this weekend in Paris I’m looking forward to spending a time at home doing not much of anything. Weekend Links Week 25 is a bigger edition in case you’re spending a little extra time at home this weekend as well. Some of my favorites include an article about Costco France’s giant pallets of baguettes, photos of Julia Child captured by Paul, the silent star of the French Open (the clay), and a round-up of all the new grand châteaux opening in France this summer. I hope you enjoy!
Five Friday Finds from France: June 18th

Happy Friday from Paris! Currently I’m sitting on the terrasse at Le Saint Germain, one of my very favorite cafés in Paris, with my second espresso watching the world go by. I haven’t put on a mask yet today. It’s the first time since August 2020 that I’ve stepped foot outdoors in Paris without one and it feels pretty incredible. This week’s Five Friday Finds from France features an incredible book on the Hôtels Particuliers of Paris, a sushi restaurant in Versailles to try, and just in time for summer, the best ice cream in Paris from Il Gelato del Marchese.
Weekend Links: Week 24
I’m not going to lie, last week really took it out of me. I gave a mini-update earlier this week, but between a trek from Paris to get vaccinated (worth it) and almost more work than I can handle (which I’m incredibly grateful for) I was absolutely exhausted by mid-week. I’m so looking forward to a relaxing, fun weekend! I think Weekend Links Week 24 is a fun one too. A few of my favorites include a piece on Little Lady Liberty’s journey from France to the US, a list of nine beautiful villages in the south of France, more on the stunning new hotel literally inside the Château de Versailles, and a beautiful Parisian apartment tour. I hope you enjoy!
