I’m so excited to share the latest extension of my print shop – Paris and Normandy phone cases! I wanted to go into a little more detail about the cases to help you make the best decision as well as share a mini update ahead of tomorrow, which is a very exciting day for a lot of people. June 9th – the day France reopens to tourists!
Tomorrow marks the beginning of a brand new chapter in France. The curfew moves to 11pm, restaurants can open indoors, gyms can finally reopen, and the list goes on. Most notably, France will welcome vaccinated tourists back. For the first time since February 2020 I think Paris is going to really feel like Paris again. It’s a moment so many people have been waiting a long time for.
Recently I’ve been getting back into the full swing of travel planning. It definitely wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. I felt like I was retraining my entire brain after a year plus without travel and a massive onslaught of demand at once. Thank you to all of my fabulous clients who have been patient with me. It’s been exhausting and also incredibly exciting. I have the coolest job in the world and it’s truly an honor to create dream trips to France.
I’ve you’ve noticed that I haven’t been posting as much on my blog – that’s why. Hopefully now I’ll be able to pick the pace back up. Throughout the past year and a half posting here has been such a great outlet and I’ve loved connecting with and getting to know so many of you. There are times when I’ve felt like taking a break, especially from Instagram, but all of the kind messages of appreciation for sharing Paris daily have kept me going. Merci infiniment.
Paris and Normandy Phone Cases
Gray Malin has always been a huge inspiration for me as a photographer. His photos are beautiful and spark so much joy, which has always been a goal of mine with everything that I share. I’ve followed his journey closely as we went to the same high school and I really admire what he’s done with his business. When thinking about how I could grow the print shop, I selfishly wanted to create something I could use every day as well. I thought Paris and Normandy phone cases were the perfect extension.
I spent a lot of time searching for the perfect case. Of course it had to look good, but it also had to be super high quality and protective. Currently iPhone and Samsung cases are available and I hope I’ll be able to add Google phones soon. Being a little bit of a control freak, I also wanted complete control over how the photo on each case and for each model looked.
I found what seemed like the perfect solution, tested them (dropped my phone more than a few times), and was ready to go. Each case has a matte finish and the photo wraps all the way around, so no matter where you look you can see a little bit of Paris or Normandy.
Shipping was also important. I’m working on being able to provide the greenest and cheapest (but reliable) options possible, and I’m thrilled that the phone cases will be produced in either the US, UK, Europe, or Australia depending on where you order from.
Slim vs. Tough Phone Cases
I just launched the Paris and Normandy phone cases yesterday but have already gotten quite a few questions about slim versus tough.
The slim case is a thin plastic shell that wraps around the phone. It’s made from extremely durable aircraft grade thermoplastic polycarbonate that’s used by Airbus and Boeing. Basically it’s super strong and has a really snug, low-profile fit.
The tough case is exactly the same, except it has a silicone insert that offers extra shock protection. The speakers and ports are wrapped in the silicone and the buttons are also covered by the silicone.
Both slim and tough cases support wireless Bluetooth charging.

If you don’t want to take any chances, the tough case is going to be the best option. It makes the phone a little wider to grip but it will definitely keep your phone safe. I personally prefer the slim case.
I’m excited to keep adding new designs to the phone case collection and the print shop in general. Unfortunately not every photo works with the placement of the phone camera, but if you have any special requests feel free send me an email!
Thank you so much for your support, as always it means so much to me!
