Rue du Bac is one of my favorite streets in Paris. It’s filled with everything I love about the city from cafés and restaurants to chocolate shops and patisseries, great shopping, and truly so much more. One of my weekly Paris traditions is buying the flowers on Rue du Bac from the best “shop,” Sanjina Fleurs.
Watching Paris in bloom is something that every Francophile should experience at least once. Luckily, you can usually find the city blooming from mid-February to early-May. The early spring flowers are especially exciting and welcome after the gray winter months. Here you’ll find some of the best places to take in the magnolias and other early spring flowers in Paris!
We’re only nine days in, but I can say with certainty that the lyrics in the song “April In Paris” are 100% accurate. I’ve loved watching Paris bloom for the first time.
