Seeing the Ritz Paris Christmas Tree is something I’ve really come to look forward to every year, but especially in 2020. Being inside the hotel is a special experience no matter what time of year, but there’s just something about it during the holidays that is absolutely magical. Floral designer Anne Vitchen really outdid herself with the tree this year.
Someone asked me to do a post on my favorite places to see Christmas decorations in Paris this year. I have no idea where to start…is everywhere an answer? I haven’t seen it all yet so my list will likely expand, but here are my favorite Paris Christmas decorations in 2020!
Year after year some of my very favorite Christmas ornaments in Paris come from Astier de Villatte. They are truly fabulous and are never exactly the same. Today I got to see (and shop) the 2020 Astier de Villatte ornaments and I couldn’t wait to share them!
I can’t be alone in thinking that this year flew by. It was packed with lots of wonderful and unique experiences, meals, people, and a few curveballs. Like anyone, my year was filled with highs and lows, but this ‘Best of 2019’ list focuses on the highs that happened in France.
Coming to Paris for Christmas or during the holiday season? I highly recommend it. I think it’s a wonderful time of year to be in Paris because there aren’t as many people plus you get to see Paris all decked out for the holidays. Trust me, there’s nothing more charming than seeing your favorite, already picturesque Parisian café decorated for Christmas. Here are my top 10 recommendations of things to see and do.
