If I could only ever go to one café in Paris for the rest of my life, I’d pick Le Saint Germain. It ticks all of the boxes – great location, strong coffee, friendly people, and it’s always open. I fell in love with this Left Bank spot on my first trip to Paris. Since then, I’ve become a regular.
Five Friday Finds from France: June 19th
Another week has flown by here, largely thanks to the perfect weather. It’s hard to believe that the temperature has been hovering around 70°F (21°C) as a high. I absolutely cannot complain. Temperatures in Paris are expected to rise drastically next week, so I can’t promise I won’t complain then. This week’s Five Friday Finds from France features my favorite peonies of the year, an unexpected potager in the Jardin des Tuileries, a terrasse in the Jardin du Luxembourg you need to have on your list, a piscine margarita and more!
The Reopening of Bars and Restaurants in France
Today is the official reopening of bars and restaurants all across France. It’s a day most people have been waiting three months for. It’s also a major step in getting back to normal, regular life (although I must admit, last week in Paris felt pretty close to normal).
My Perfect Valentine’s Day in Paris
Paris is a wonderful place to celebrate Valentine’s Day no matter if you’re celebrating with a partner, a group of friends, family, or just yourself. My perfect Valentine’s Day in Paris looks a lot like a perfect day in Paris in February. So whether you’re celebrating love or just love for Paris, read on to see how I’d spend the day.
Best of 2019
I can’t be alone in thinking that this year flew by. It was packed with lots of wonderful and unique experiences, meals, people, and a few curveballs. Like anyone, my year was filled with highs and lows, but this ‘Best of 2019’ list focuses on the highs that happened in France.
