As a Christmas fanatic it’s hard to beat a visit to the “Christmas Capital” of France. October was a blast, the biggest reason being my family came to visit for almost two weeks. Every time they’re in town I basically get to play hooky and act like I’m on vacation. The most wonderful time of the year is almost officially here and I’m finalizing my plans to celebrate this season. This year is going to be extra special with our sweet little baby and I’m ready to make the most of it after being heavily pregnant during the holidays last year. We have a few trips planned, activities in Paris booked and have also penciled in plenty of cozy moments at home. I can’t wait to celebrate and of course share my Christmas in Paris plan for 2024.

I’ve wanted to write this post for a long time and even thought about it while I was still in the hospital. Everything from the care to the food and the amenities was really incredible…and don’t even get me started on the total cost. While I have nothing to compare it to, the experience really sticks out in my mind as a positive one and it also seems so different from my friend’s stories in the US. September always marks a very welcome changing of seasons – I don’t like being hot and there isn’t enough air conditioning in Paris for me to be a huge summer person.
