It’s been a fun and fast-paced week in France. I think September brings a wonderful new energy – and I’m really partial to the “er” months. This week’s Five Friday Finds from France includes some very cool things for me personally – my episode on the “La Vie Creative” podcast as well as Paris dans l’Œil de Ses Habitants, a new book on Paris that features one of my photos.
Weekend Links: Week 38

This weekend the Journées du Patrimoine (European Heritage Days) are happening and I am beyond excited to be going to Elysée Palace and the Arc de Triomphe to see the Christo installation. I’m also excited just to recharge a bit with Dalton! Some of my favorites from Weekend Links Week 38 include photos of the new Laura Gonzalez designed Saint James Hotel, a list of great restaurants near popular Paris museums, descriptions of the four restaurants in the new Cheval Blanc Paris hotel, and a list of nine common mistakes to avoid in Paris. Enjoy!
Five Friday Finds from France: September 17th
September is such a busy, exciting, wonderful, and fun month in Paris and I’ve really felt that over the past week. I’m very much looking forward to the weekend because of European Heritage Days. This year I’m visiting the Elysée Palace and can’t wait to catch a glimpse of Daniel Buren’s new Pavoisé installation. Other finds include a sensitive version of the cult-favorite Lait-Crème Concentré and a restaurant in the center of Paris to add to your list!
Weekend Links: Week 37
It was definitely one of those weeks and I am majorly looking forward to a leisurely, mostly laptop free weekend. Art Paris 2021 is going on as well as Paris Design Week – I can’t wait to do a little exploring! Some of my favorite articles from Weekend Links Week 37 include a list of 20 things to do this autumn in France, a list of the top 10 hotels in Paris (all dreamy, of course), photos of the Dior medallion chair interpreted by 17 artists, and a tour of a 100 year-old Paris home. I hope you enjoy!
Five Friday Finds from France: September 10th
Things are back in full force after la rentrée – the return from vacation to school/work, etc. – and Paris is as full as I’ve seen it since February 2020. It’s exciting but also a definite adjustment. I realize now how just how quiet and calm things actually were. And while the circumstances were certainly less than ideal, I feel lucky to have seen and experienced that version of the city for so long. This week’s Five Friday Finds from France features a book on the art of drinking wine like the French, a new Paris-scented candle from Diptyque, the charming Rueil-Malmaison just outside of Paris, a note on the French Health Pass and more.
