I’m really excited about Week 23 of Weekend Links. There are so many wonderful articles from a six-year-old WWII French Resistance agent finally getting recognition to a few tributes to the recently deceased François Catroux and a little bit of hope and good news with regards to the COVID-19 numbers in France. My favorite article of the week is an interview with Casa Lopez’s Pierre Sauvage – it’s filled with great tidbits from his signature dish (Reblochon cheese pie – yes please), to his top five books and what makes a house a home. Enjoy!

France Offers Another Glimmer of Hope on Covid (reading this makes the lockdown worth it)
In Lockdown, France Says Pots and Pans Are Essential—but Not Silverware (“It’s very French, and very stupid.” At Monoprix in Neuilly you can buy bath robes but not a jacket).
I hope you enjoyed week 23 of Weekend Links! I’d love to hear which articles about France were your favorites. Feel free to send me an email or leave a comment below. Bon week-end à tous et à toutes!
