This week’s Five Friday Finds from France features a Ruinart basket filled with champagne and food to prepare at home, Château de Versailles virtual programming, a selection of virtual visits to Paris museums (including the new Gabrielle Chanel exhibit) for the European Night of Museums, a pumpkin ricotta ravioli recipe and more.
Ruinart Champagne and Food Basket

Chef Ecaterina Paraschiv created a three-course menu for Ruinart to prepare at home and pair with Ruinart Rosé. The basket will include everything you need to make the three-course meal for two – including recipe cards, video instructions, and of course a bottle of Ruinart Rosé. Seems like a perfectly festive lockdown activity to me! If you live in Paris you can order a basket through November 17th and it will be delivered on November 21st.
Château de Versailles Virtual Programming

I’m so lucky that Romain and I visited Versailles and the château on a whim just before the second lockdown. I have plenty to share from that day so you can take a virtual visit from our perspective, but in the meantime check out virtual programming from the Château de Versailles. There’s plenty to experience including virtual visits, virtual reality experiences, games, and quizzes.
Chez Meunier Chocolate Croissant

Full disclosure: I originally bought this chocolate croissant from Chez Meunier for Romain. But after I took a bite there was a 0% chance I was sharing. If you’ve ever been to Dairy Queen and had a Dipped Cone it’s kind of like that…a hard shell exterior…but the inside is also filled with gooey chocolate. It’s definitely an occasional indulgence but so worth it if you’re a chocolate person!
European Night of Museums

This year, the European Night of Museums is going digital, which is great news for everyone who can’t get to France as well as everyone locked down in France! Tomorrow, November 14th is the day. Many beloved Parisian museums are participating including Musée de la Vie Romantique, Musée de la Libération de Paris – Musée du Général Leclerc – Musée Jean Moulin, Musée Bourdelle, Maison Victor Hugo, Musée Carnavalet and more. A definite highlight will be a guided visit of the new Gabrielle Chanel exhibit. For more information, click here.
Pumpkin Ricotta Ravioli Recipe
Last but not least is another ravioli recipe. We had so much fun with the spinach ravioli that we decided to try this pumpkin ricotta ravioli recipe. It was the perfect fall dish and easy for a Monday night!
I hope you enjoyed this week’s Five Friday Finds from France. I’ll be back tomorrow with Weekend Links!
