The Left Bank needed JK Place Paris. From the moment you walk into the hotel it feels different – like you’re truly walking into a private home. And in some ways, you are. There’s so much to love from the immaculate decor and attentive service to the perfect location and well-appointed rooms.
Last week as a part of my OuiPlease Instagram takeover I shared my idea of a perfect day on the Left Bank. This day was shopping-centric and I included a mini Rue du Bac guide with some of my favorite shops and what to buy. I wanted to focus on this part of Paris because I think it’s a great area to consider staying in whether at a hotel or in an apartment to get a taste of real life in Paris.
I wandered into Mon Square completely by (happy) accident after visiting the Musée de l’Orangerie. I’d wanted to try it out ever since I saw photos of it in November. It’s one of those places where you think it’s not possible for it to be that beautiful in real life. It exceeded all expectations.
