It’s officially, officially the most wonderful time of the year. I love everything about the holiday season and look forward to it all year, which I know is irrational. I love the decorations, the music, the foods and the parties, but more than anything I love the moments spent with loved ones. I’ve been especially looking forward to this year’s celebrations thanks to two very exciting personal updates that I’m sharing exclusively with members.
Weekend Links: Week 46
This week was busier than expected and I did not get everything I had planned finished – including a fun update just for members which I promise is coming next week! It feels like it’s rained for two weeks straight, even though I know it hasn’t. Luckily the festive decorations are making up for the onset of winter gloom in Paris. Some of my favorites from Weekend Links Week 46 include some of the world’s most beautiful shops (the Paris inclusions are favorites of mine), a gorgeous Paris apartment tour, and where the chef of the Ritz eats on her days off. Enjoy!
Weekend Links: Week 45
We’re jumping ahead to Weekend Links Week 45 after I took a couple of weeks off. Our trip home felt like the quickest two weeks ever and I wish we had more time, although I am excited to be back in Paris for my favorite time of year here. The colors are vivid and gorgeous (when it isn’t raining) and all of the holiday decorations are starting to go up. This week I have two very exciting personal updates to share exclusively with members which I’m looking forward to. Some of my favorites from this week include an essay about a different kind of summer in Paris, a guide to speaking like a local in Paris, French recipes from Anthony Bourdain perfect for Thanksgiving or during the holidays and a look at a Paris wedding that has me reminiscing on our wedding weekend. Enjoy!
September 2023 Recap
September is always one of my favorite months in Paris. This year I was lucky to have lots of family and friends visiting which meant the month was filled with lots of favorite restaurants, shopping, and even a quick getaway to the Côte d’Azur. Read on to discover exactly where I ate and drank, shopped, and what I did in the September 2023 recap, including several of my favorite places to shop for vintage and antique items in Paris.
Weekend Links: Week 42
October up until this point has felt like a sprint. Every day was filled to the brim, and while it felt good to get so many things accomplished both Romain and I are exhausted. Yesterday we arrived in Dallas and are so excited to spend some time here with my family. Some of my favorites from Weekend Links Week 42 include a look at the new Mark Rothko exhibit at Fondation Louis Vuitton, a snob’s guide to Provence, and a tour of a 1960s Paris apartment. Enjoy!
