June seemed to fly by as we were eagerly counting down the days until our summer trip to the US. It was a warmer month and I fully expected it meant we were going to have a hot (aka miserable) summer in Paris, but as it turns out July feels more like October. We spent most of the month trying to stay cool whether inside with air-conditioning or with ice creams outside. The last day of the month brought some very valuable travel lessons.
