August is honestly always one of my favorite months to be in Paris because it’s so (so!) quiet, but this year I was scared to death it was going to be beyond packed with the Olympics so I was barely here. We spent the first part of the month in Normandy before heading to Italy on a trip that Romain and I had been looking forward to for many months. We brought bébé with us for the first part of the trip and then his grad-mère took over and we got to enjoy one of our favorite places in the world, Portofino, without him.
