Weekend Links: Week Five

weekend links week five mimosas in paris

I’m putting together Weekend Links Week Five from the Eurostar on the way to London. I decided late yesterday afternoon to take a very last-minute day trip to look at wedding dresses. I’m meeting my cousin who lives in London and am so excited to be back, even if it’s just for a quick trip. It’s going to be such a fun day. Some of my favorites from this week include a look inside the making of Chanel’s SS 2022 haute couture collection, a comparison of Ina Garten and Julia Child’s beef bourguignon recipes (I will definitely be making Julia’s version soon), and a great guide to Paris. Enjoy!

I hope you enjoyed week five of Weekend Links! I’d love to hear which articles about France were your favorites. Feel free to send me an email or leave a comment below. Bon week-end à tous et à toutes!

  1. A little too many articles on fashion, cooking, makeup and where to stay for my interests. I would like to hear more about unique places to visit, changes to the living in France – bicycling lanes, trees being planted, new pedestrian areas, latest happenings at Versailles or museums. Other places in France near Paris to see. Do love the pictures that are included and have added some to my screensaver.

  2. As somebody that has crunched the numbers to live in Paris, France vs America(Charleston,SC) it is nice to read validation from somebody who made the move. I keep thinking “I must have missed something. There’s no way it’s cheaper!”. Living in Paris is my goal and I’m finally making substantial moves in making that a reality.
