Weekend Links: Week 52

It snuck up on me, and I really can’t believe that Christmas is already here. December flew by as I stayed probably a little too busy, but I’m looking forward to a slower and relaxed pace for the next few weeks. I’m getting a jump start on Weekend Links Week 52 (for once) so that I can leave my laptop shut and just enjoy the next few days with family – from my side and from Romain’s side. We’re hosting Christmas Eve at home and it will of course be a mix of French and American traditions followed by a traditional French Christmas day. Some of my favorites from Weekend Links Week 52 include an article about traveling to Paris alone, the history of the McBaguette, and a look inside the Chanel perfume exhibit. Enjoy, and wishing those who celebrate a very Merry Christmas!

The Best Thing I Did This Year? Travel to Paris Alone. Before I lived here I came alone often, and I can’t recommend it enough.
