We’re jumping ahead to Weekend Links Week 45 after I took a couple of weeks off. Our trip home felt like the quickest two weeks ever and I wish we had more time, although I am excited to be back in Paris for my favorite time of year here. The colors are vivid and gorgeous (when it isn’t raining) and all of the holiday decorations are starting to go up. This week I have two very exciting personal updates to share exclusively with members which I’m looking forward to. Some of my favorites from this week include an essay about a different kind of summer in Paris, a guide to speaking like a local in Paris, French recipes from Anthony Bourdain perfect for Thanksgiving or during the holidays and a look at a Paris wedding that has me reminiscing on our wedding weekend. Enjoy!
Weekend Links: Week 42
October up until this point has felt like a sprint. Every day was filled to the brim, and while it felt good to get so many things accomplished both Romain and I are exhausted. Yesterday we arrived in Dallas and are so excited to spend some time here with my family. Some of my favorites from Weekend Links Week 42 include a look at the new Mark Rothko exhibit at Fondation Louis Vuitton, a snob’s guide to Provence, and a tour of a 1960s Paris apartment. Enjoy!
Weekend Links: Week 41
It’s been a heavy week, and one that’s left many people feeling completely drained, myself included. I hope that Weekend Links Week 41 can be a distraction if you are feeling the same way. Some of my favorites include a list of the 36 best restaurants in Paris right now, 24 essential French cooking terms decoded, what to see and do this fall in Paris and a look at Cordelia de Castellane’s French garden. Enjoy!
Weekend Links: Week 40
We are gearing up for a full weekend while also trying to enjoy the (potentially) last bit of warm weather in Paris. I’m personally ready for full fall mode. Some of my favorites from Weekend Links Week 40 include a look at a seaside city loved by Parisians, a list of Champagne cocktail recipes for the holidays (it’s never too soon), and a simple vinaigrette recipe. Enjoy!
Weekend Links: Week 39
This week wrapped up a very, very fun month of having friends and family visiting France. It flew by and was so special as always. Luckily the goodbyes weren’t as hard as usual since we have an upcoming trip to the US planned. Later in the week it was back to work and I somehow managed to be much more productive than I thought I would be – likely out of necessity as the next three weeks will be beyond busy. Some of my favorites from Weekend Links Week 39 include a look inside the new Dior fragrance exhibit, a list of the best hotels in Paris, French design rules to live by, an article on modernism on the French Riviera and several great guides to Paris. Enjoy!
