I’m not sure how it’s possible that it’s already this time of the week again, but Weekend Links Week Seven is here! I spent most of the week on the beyond gorgeous island of Port Cros and can’t wait to share more from my time there soon. Of the sixteen articles this week, my favorites include the best high jewelry collections from Paris Couture Week, a list of films based in Paris, a French Champagne house’s decision to open a winery in the UK, and a tour of a beyond gorgeous Parisian apartment.
I’m back in Paris after the most refreshing and relaxing time in the South of France. Last Saturday we started part two of the vacation in Port Cros. I fell in love with this tiny little island paradise. I can say with confidence that we experienced as much of the island as possible. Port Cros provided plenty of experiences from driving a boat on the Mediterranean to learning how to fillet a cooked fish. Now that I’m back in Paris, there’s a Tex-Mex fiesta on the horizon thanks to the sweetest care package I received from Dallas. Yes, seeing the Velveeta and HEB Butter Tortillas really did almost bring tears to my eyes.
In this week’s Five Friday Finds from France you won’t find anything Valentine’s Day related, but Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s a real mix of finds this week, but there’s one that stands out and probably will for the rest of my life. It’s not a thing or an object, but rather an experience, and really a once-in-a-lifetime type experience at that.
As the end of summer is sadly approaching, I’m looking back on the second part of my solo vacation in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat on the French Riviera. I spent one magical night at the Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat with its Club Dauphin and it was nothing short of perfection.
A friend recently asked for suggestions of where to go for a weekend trip in France in May, which immediately reminded me of the trip I took to the South of France. I spent the first unforgettable evening in Èze at the Hotel Cap Estel.
