I can’t believe we’re in the final stretch of 2022. I have to admit, I’ve felt stretched rather thin in the past couple of months. Next week I’m looking forward to a more relaxed pace and schedule. I’ve promised myself I’m just going to work in the mornings and I’m going to spend the afternoons soaking up the festive atmosphere in Paris. It’s such a fleeting season and I want to take it all in. Weekend Links Week 50 is here – late but in earnest! I’m in the middle of the busiest couple of weeks of the year, which I didn’t think I’d be saying following the wedding. The holiday spirit is keeping me going and I have so many fun plans mixed in with work. We decided to take a very last minute trip to the Loire Valley to see the châteaux decked out for the holidays. The ultimate bonus was finding a dog-friendly hotel so that Boomer could join us. We’ve only been here a night but absolutely love the hotel so far. I will share lots more details following our trip. The holiday season is officially here and I kicked it off in full swing this week. It’s going to be a marathon until Christmas filled with a mixture of work and fun and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We are spending the weekend celebrating a belated Thanksgiving and decorating the tree before heading off for a working staycation on Sunday. This week marked the beginning of the very busy holiday season for me. Thinking about all that I have to do is a bit overwhelming, but also exciting because it truly is the most wonderful time of the year, and being in Paris decked out for the holidays is always magical. I’m making a point to do as many different holiday-themed activities as possible (which I’ll be sharing with members) and the first on the list is tomorrow.
