October up until this point has felt like a sprint. Every day was filled to the brim, and while it felt good to get so many things accomplished both Romain and I are exhausted. Yesterday we arrived in Dallas and are so excited to spend some time here with my family. We are gearing up for a full weekend while also trying to enjoy the (potentially) last bit of warm weather in Paris. I’m personally ready for full fall mode. This week wrapped up a very, very fun month of having friends and family visiting France. It flew by and was so special as always. Luckily the goodbyes weren’t as hard as usual since we have an upcoming trip to the US planned. Later in the week it was back to work and I somehow managed to be much more productive than I thought I would be – likely out of necessity as the next three weeks will be beyond busy. Fall is my very favorite season in Paris and this week it really felt like it started to arrive. There’s a crispness in the air and leaves are starting to change in the Tuileries. It was a very exciting week personally which I will share more about at some point. The cherry on top is having my parents here for the weekend to celebrate.
