I fell in love with Atelier Paulin years ago and still haven’t fallen out of love. I have several of the Atelier Paulin initial rings and love the idea of adding in a necklace.

Caudalie Resveratrol Lift Night Infusion Firming Moisturizing Cream
caudalie reversatrol lift night cream

One of my favorite night creams is the Caudalie Resveratrol Night Cream, and I’ve already reached for it a lot this winter. It smells so good and leaves my skin feeling dewy and silky soft. Also, it helps with dryness, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and prevents the loss of firmness and elasticity. It’s good for every skin type including mine (sensitive) making it a safe bet and a treat for anyone on your list.

Veja Sneakers

veja dekkan womens sneakers

Comfort is key for me so I pretty much exclusively wear sneakers walking around Paris. With Veja sneakers you get to feel put together and chic and your feet will thank you. I like the color of this pair of Veja V-10 sneakers because all white tends to get so dirty so quickly walking around Paris (especially with Boomer). I’ve also been loving sportier sneakers recently, and think these Dekkans are so fun with the laces but are still neutral. Veja also makes men’s sneakers if you’re looking for something for him – both my brother and Romain have multiple pairs!

Cire Trudon Holiday Candle – Fir
trudon fir candle for holiday

Everyone has their favorite French candle brand – mine happens to be Cire Trudon. Founded in 1643, Cire Trudon is the oldest candlemaker in the world still active today – candles are all handmade in Normandy. This Fir candle is an all-time holiday favorite. It smells better than my Christmas tree and the packaging is so pretty to gift as a gift. It sells out every year so get it while you can! There are also smaller candles in the other holiday scents.

If you read my Five Friday Finds from France series you might recognize these fun Sophie Cano Paris x Notre-Dame de Paris bags. They’re now available to shop and they are just adorable. My favorite is the Mini Cathedral Bag (for some reason this is only available on the French version of the website), but I also really like the Baby Bag “Le Chemin” and the Le Chemin Pouch.

Everyone needs a 2024 calendar, and this one by Sonja Bajic is perfect for a Francophile and especially a foodie. Bernardaud’s ‘Tout Paris’ Collection
bernardaud tout paris plates

It’s no secret that I’m a fan of beautiful French porcelain. While I tend to lean towards vintage and antique pieces, Bernardaud’s ‘Tout Paris’ collection has my heart skipping a beat. The pieces feature iconic Parisian monuments, landmarks and scenes. You’ll spot Palais Garnier, Place de la Concorde, Sacre Cœur, Guimard Métro entrances and more. I love the assortment of colors – they’re beautiful for mixing and matching and are all dishwasher safe.

Step into the world of the Plaza Athénée, a true Parisian icon in this brand new book. It was created in collaboration with the palace hotel’s Chef Jean Imbert, who decribes Plaza Athénée as “a city within a city. It’s a heart of six hundred people that is beating day and night. It’s where I’ve put all my heart, all my memories, all my crazy ideas.” To create an ultimate fantasy gift, you could pair the book along with a stay at the Plaza Athénée – contact me here with assistance in planning your perfect trip to Paris.

Maison de Vacances Throw
maison des vacances throw

I’m completely obsessed with everything Maison de Vacances and their Palais-Royal boutique – a must visit when you’re in Paris. Maison de vacances means holiday home, so as you can imagine everything the brand makes is laid back, soft, cozy and of course oh so French. I love this Pearl Fringed Throw and think throws are always a welcome gift for the home. There are lots of different colors to choose from!

For Champagne lovers, La Box Champenoise is the ultimate subscription box. Every quarter you’ll receive six or twelve different Champagnes from independent winemakers in the region. This is such a unique gift and a great way to become familiar with smaller wine growers. A perfect way to prepare for a trip to Champagne or reminisce following a trip!

Vintage French Monogram Napkins

I love vintage French monogram napkins and am always on the lookout for initials I know. When I saw these vintage French ‘OG’ monogram napkins I thought they were just too fun. The set of six would be great for cocktails and a pretty way to bring France into your home.

Paris Chic Book

From the first time I read about the Paris Chic book I knew it would become an instant favorite of mine and other lovers of Paris. The photos are just stunning and really capture the energy of the city. I think it will be ‘the’ large format Paris book for quite some time to come.

Mauviel 1830 Frying Pan
mauviel 1830 copper frying pan set

After attending the Dîner Cousu-Main at Musée Christian Dior I learned more about Mauviel 1830. Described as “probably the best cookware in the world,” Mauviel 1830 was founded in 1830 in Villedieu-les-Poêles, a Normandy village known for its copper. The products are of the highest quality and loved by professional chefs as well as home cooks. A great frying pan is always an essential. If that doesn’t sound like the most exciting gift, they also have gorgeous copper champagne buckets, a copper fondue set for a fun winter activity, beautiful butter dishes and more.

Let’s Eat Paris! Book
let's eat paris book

The newest in the Let’s Eat series is Let’s Eat Paris! This fabulous book is a wonderful guide to Paris from a foodie lens and is filled with interesting stories, recipes, restaurant suggestions (from where to get the best beef tartare to the best Provençal restaurants in Paris) and more. It’s the kind of book that you can flip open to literally any page and learn something. I’ve already added plenty of places to my list to visit and will be gifting copies to friends and family this year.

Willi’s Wine Bar Bottle Art
willis wine bar 2023 poster

Willi’s Wine Bar is a Paris institution. One of the best parts about it (there are a lot) are the Bottle Art posters on the walls. Each year Willi’s releases a new poster, and a selection is available online. If you know someone who loves food, wine, and Paris they’ll probably love Willi’s Bottle Art. There are latest and current editions, rare and vintage editions, as well as artist signed editions.

French First Name Bowls
Francophile gift ideas

I’ve always wanted a bol prénom of my own, but with a name like Landen I can’t say I’ve ever come across one. Luckily for me, Faiëncerie de Pornic makes these hand-painted bowls where you can not only choose any name, but you can also completely design your own bowl down to the colors and design on the inside. This would be a special and authentic French gift for family, friends, someone who just had a baby (or just yourself)! Worldwide shipping available.

Staub Crêpe Pan with Spreader and Spatula
Staub Crêpe kit francophile gift ideas

Crêpes and galettes are an easy, fun, and delicious thing to make at home – but you absolutely have to have the right tools for the best results. Using this Staub Crêpe Pan with the spreader and spatula will almost guarantee the best results. Romain would also like me to mention for the best results you should use French flour as well, available here. Although I’m sure any buckwheat flour will be just fine 🙂

Antique French Floral Dinner Plates
Ch. Pillivuyt et Cie Floral Dinner Plates 19th century vieux paris

One of the most satisfying parts of cooking is putting the finished dish on the plate and gathering around the table to enjoy the meal. Antique and vintage porcelain makes me happy, which in turn makes the time around the table more enjoyable. These Ch. Pillivuyt et Cie 19th century Vieux Paris Floral Dinner plates are sold as a set of six (multiple sets are available) and were found at a brocante in Paris. They would be beautiful mixed and matched with other pieces you already own.

Molly J. Wilk’s Virtual Pastry Classes

My friend Molly has an Online Pastry School that I’m so thrilled to be a part of. Molly is so incredibly talented and makes French pastry approachable and fun. You can also pick up a copy of her book, French Pastry Made Simple. She also has a fabulous shop with aprons, oven mitts, tea towels and more. Everything is made in Versailles and would make fabulous Christmas gifts. I’ve joined Molly for a Croquembouche and Bûche de Noël class – both were major hits with my family!

L/Uniform Mini Press Bag
l/uniform mini press bag gifts for francophiles available online

L/Uniform is where I can always find something for everyone on my list, especially those hard to shop for people. They have the best everyday and travel essentials and everything can be personalized. This year one of my favorite items is the mini press bag, which can be monogrammed. The next time you’re in Paris be sure to check out their boutique on Quai Malaquais for even more personalization options!

Le Creuset Dutch Oven
le creuset white dutch oven gold knob

Le Creuset pieces are an investment, but once you start using them you won’t want to cook with anything else. A signature Le Creuset piece is the dutch oven, and I prefer the round shape. If you need help picking a size they have a handy guide. You can also change out the knobs which is a fun way to mix up pieces you alrady have. These dutch ovens are so versatile, you can use them on the stovetop or in the oven and they distribute and hold heat so well. Each is made in France and comes with a lifetime warranty so you don’t have to worry about your investment. The handles do get hot – so one of my favorite purchases to go with the dutch oven are these handle grips!

In 2023 Emily added to her repertoire and wrote a children’s book, The Parisian ABCs. This cheeky book is great for children and adults alike. Olympia Le-Tan Paris Clutches
olympia le tan paris 73 clutch

Olympia Le-Tan clutches are conversation starters – they’re trompe l’oeil (optical illusion) books and feature the most fabulous embroidery. The clutches are an investment, but it’s so much fun to look at the different designs. Some of my favorite Paris-themed clutches are the Paris 73 clutch based on a print by Swedish graphic designer Bo Lundberg and the adorable The Art of French Baking clutch.

Baccarat Martharita Glasses

The Baccarat x Martha Stewart Martharita collection is so good. For a margarita and Baccarat-loving person like myself it really is good. I love both the tumblers and the stemmed glasses.

A Print from the Gray Malin “Dogs of Paris” Series
gray malin dogs of paris

I got to be a part of the Gray Malin “Dogs of Paris” photoshoot in July and it was one of the most fun things I did this year. For anyone who loves dogs, Paris or both the photos would be the perfect gift. I really can’t pick a favorite…but I am partial to the shots with Rio the golden retriever and my favorite café Les Antiquaires. All of the shooting locations are so iconic!

Vintage Christofle Art Deco Cocktail Shaker
vintage Christofle art deco cocktail shaker la porte bonheur

No bar is complete without a beautiful cocktail shaker. This vintage Christofle cocktail shaker from the 1930’s is perfect. The design is timeless and most importantly it will make your drinks taste that much better!

Petit H Snowflake Charm Ornaments
petit h hermes snowflake charm

All Petit H by Hermès products are “born in reverse” – meaning they’re created from existing materials. In turn, each item is one of a kind. Normally you’ll only find Petit H products at the Rue de Sèvres store in Paris and very occasionally at other stores around the world. It’s fun to browse the entire collection, but this snowflake charm caught my eye. It would be so pretty on a tree!

Baccarat Rouge 540
Baccarat Rouge 540

I’m almost 100% sure that Baccarat Rouge 540 is my favorite smell ever. I have a few of the small samples that I use very sparingly for special occasions. It’s a perfume that really holds its scent – yesterday I sprayed a little bit, wore it all day, went for a run, took a shower and the perfume was still there. Once you smell this scent you’ll be hooked.

A Trip to France

Of course, the ultimate gift for any Francophile is a trip to France. I would be honored to help you put together an unforgettable itinerary. If a trip to France isn’t in the cards for this year, I also offer memberships which give you an insider’s look at life in Paris.
